HYDRO-JETTING SEWER LINES

Over time you may notice your pipes have become less efficient; water isn’t draining as quickly, or perhaps there is a foul smell coming from the drain. Hydro jetting may be just what your pipes need!

Hydro jetting cleans clogged or slow sewer lines. A blast of water at 35,000 psi is sent into the lines and removes blockages and build up in the pipe.

Before deciding if hydro jetting is the best method for you, we will first need to perform a sewage camera inspection to determine the problem in the pipes. Hydro jetting can be the only method needed; however, if there is a heavy amount of tree roots, then a snaking will be an order to tear up the roots so the hydro jets can blast away the remnants.

What hydro jetting Sewer Lines fixes

  • Grease build-up
  • Light tree roots (Heavier roots may require a snake before hydro jetting.)
  • Food build-up
  • Hair clogs

Hydro jetting should always be done by a professional–here at Millers, we will best asses if hydro jetting services would be beneficial to your pipes. Going into the process blind can cause damage to the pipes. If there are weakened areas in your pipes, then hydro jetting should be avoided; this can further exacerbate the damage and cause the pipe to break. With our sewer camera inspection, we will asses if hydro jetting would be more helpful or harmful to your pipes.

Hydro jetting is an environmentally friendly method of cleaning pipes as no harsh chemicals are needed, only high powered pressurized water. Though this service is more commonly done with restaurants, the average homeowner can benefit from a routine hydro jetting to ensure the pipes remain clean and in functional order.
