Discover the comprehensive benefits of Miller’s Services Septic Maintenance Program, designed to uphold the integrity of your septic system. As regulations regarding Alternative Onsite Sewage Systems (AOSS) continue to evolve in the state of Virginia, it’s crucial to ensure your system is properly maintained and inspected annually by a licensed operator. Our Septic Maintenance Program not only helps you stay compliant with state regulations but also provides peace of mind knowing that your home and environment are protected. With over 50 years of experience, Miller’s Services is your trusted partner in septic system care.

Why is it important to have regular maintenance on my system?

Having annual maintenance and inspections performed on your septic system is similar to having an annual inspection on your car. It is important to maintain and be proactive about your septic system in order to prevent future problems that may jeopardize your household and the environment. Annual maintenance will ensure that all components of your system are functioning properly just as an annual vehicle inspection ensures that all parts of the vehicle are safe and working. Maintaining a relationship with a licensed provider and having regular inspections ensures you are compliant with all state regulations as well. Most importantly, you can rest easy knowing your system is taken care of!

What does the state of Virginia Require?

Regulations became effective on December 7, 2011 pertaining to the operations and maintenance of Alternative Onsite Sewage Systems (AOSS). These regulations require that all alternative septic systems be maintained and inspected annually by a DPOR licensed operator and that maintenance be provided based on individual manufacturer specifications for varying systems.

Can I purchase a membership for a Conventional System?

ABSOLUTELY! A Septic Membership is a great idea for any type of system, especially if there are pumps and controls as part of your system. You’ll know ahead of time when the system is due for pumping without having to track this yourself. While there is currently no requirement to report annual maintenance on a conventional system, you can have peace of mind knowing your system is in good shape and that you won’t be facing any unexpected costly repairs!

Our Septic Membership includes the required annual maintenance and inspection for the State of Virginia, and we provide maintenance on ALL types of alternative and conventional onsite sewage systems.
